This massive five tracker combines the best of all worlds electronic, fusing glitch inspired electro with ultra-fat, bass heavy funk and industrial and is by far the Lobbys’ most danceable to date. Packaged in amazing artwork from Elzo and a guest appearance by Shadowhuntaz’ Non Genetic, we are truly honoured to say this release is the first in a series. This album was originally released february 2008 (EAT008 Catalog), and is now available once again!

I’m a graphic designer and illustrator by trade, but I’ve been DJing for 13 years and have been fortunate enough to play with some of my favorite artists in that time including, Four Tet, Prefuse 73, Daedelus, Caribou, J Rocc, Nobody, Battles, DJ Vadim and many more.
I’ve been involved in numerous projects within the music industry. Helping run independent label Camshot Records, where we were privileged to break artists Infinte Lives (Big Dada) and the excellent (and highly sought after) King Seven. I founded Akanda, an online project dedicated to monthly remix competitions, working with artists and labels such as Telefon Tel Aviv, Forss, Melodic, Memphis Industries and Ninja Tune.
Without a doubt the single biggest influence on my approach to DJing is Ninja Tune’s legendary radio show Solid Steel. From early on shows by Strictly Kev, PC and Coldcut showed me that mixes are not just an arbirty collection of beat matched tracks but can be enveloping with strong narratives, movements and undulating landscapes.
Saying that, ‘Infinity City’ is surprisingly focused. Hip-tronica, aqua crunk, wonky? No one has come up with a good name for it, maybe that’s a good thing! I’m drawn to Dublab’s catch all name of ‘future roots music’ describing anything taking from the past to look into the future. It’s from that perspective the near-future megatropolis of ‘Infinity City’ was conceived. A place of optimism, universal humanism and heavy beats! I hope you enjoy your stay.”

[Focus] Vervue : Drawing your attention
Vervue, the sandman, has been working his magic for almost two years now. With his sandtable he creates live imagery and people react to his art wherever he goes.
As an artist Vervue has an extensive background in various fields of visual and graphic design, like graffiti, sculpting, design and audio-visual ‘decors’. He is also a long time musician. In 2007 Vervue debuted his sand drawing live performance.
